ANANDAM, DADIKAR, ALWAR

We convey our warm greetings and like to inform you with pride that A block of our dream project Anandam- A Home for Sick & Destitute at Dadikar, Alwar has been completed. The Home was inaugurated by Ms. Neelima Khetan, Vice- President, CSR Hindustan Zinc Limited and Shri Ajay Mehta, President, Sewa Mandir on 18th November, 2017. The inauguration was followed by a bhoj (lunch). It got operational on the same day and five patients were shifted from Vijay Mandir.

Hindustan Zinc Limited came forward and provided the Rs. 63 lakhs under their CSR for construction of A block of the building. We appreciate their benevolent gesture and all the active support provided in terms of guidance and monitoring of the project.

Along the way Tata Steel, Kajaria, Havells, Lingel (Doors & Windows) and Parryware gave us substantial discounts under their CSR and provided the much-needed support enabling us to cut costs. We would like to specially thank Shri Anoop Singh, Architect and Shri Hemant, Project Supervisor for their invaluable contribution in the project.

The A block of Anandam has a floor area of 8656 sq. ft.- 25% more than what was planned. The structure is high quality and construction was cost-effective. The newly constructed building has following infrastructure:

  • Halls (4) with capacity to accommodate 60 patients
  • Reception & Admin area
  • Recreation room & Dinning Hall
  • Store
  • Toilet Block (Male & Female)

Anandam, Dadikar has been a milestone in the journey of SAPNA to serve the poorest of the poor. Itís the product of hard work, foresight, dedication and perseverance of TEAM SAPNA that Anandam has seen the light of the day and is all set to be dedicated to the service of society.
