'Adopotion of Two Goverment School'

Under ‘Project Turnaround’ NGO SAPNA has two government schools (an Upper Primary School in village Kaduki and a girl’s residential school for Muslim girls in village Chandoli) with the aim to turn around the schools by providing modern educational and infrastructural facilities.

About Project Turnaround

Project Turnaround" aims to scale up and support ongoing efforts of the Rajasthan Government to improve quality education and enhance existing capacities of the institutions to become dynamic, demand-driven, quality conscious, efficient and forward looking, responsive to rapid economic and technological developments occurring at the local, State, National and International levels. It has a clear focus on the objectives to improve the overall quality of existing educational programmes. The Government of Rajasthan is committed to achieving the universalization of elementary education for all children between the age 06-14 years in all its Districts through partnering with individuals, institutions, Trusts, corporate bodies, and any other such entities engaged in the realization of the objectives decided by District Elementary Education and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA); To achieve said objective, the project will collaborate with local stakeholders including government entities, as well as professional organizations. Key partners are the Department of Elementary Education (Alwar), Department of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (Alwar), Sapna NGO working in the field of social upliftment and education in Alwar district that will monitor activities, generate evidence, mobilize resources and obtain ethical and technical approvals and the ME Foundation which has experience of working in the field of education.

Primary objective:
  • Ensure quality of education in the school by providing academic inputs and training to teachers.
  • Mainstreaming of girls who have passed out from the school.
  • Impart Skill training to the girls.
  • Impart computer education to girls.
  • Health education and life skills to girls.
  • Setting up good library and ensure its use.
  • Promote games and sports for the girls.
  • Plantation and kitchen garden.

  • Our Vision is to provide sustainable adaptation model to Govt. and likeminded organization, such that all girl child of poor and deprive family get access to quality education.
