We convey our warm greetings and like to inform you with pride that our dream project Vishwaprabha Netralaya under construction since October 2015 is complete and became operational on 25th August, 2017. We offer our deep gratitude to Smt Prabha Devi who was kind enough to donate the land for the project.
Coal India Limited came forward and provided the Rs. 64 lakh under their CSR for construction of the building. We appreciate their benevolent gesture and all the active support provided in terms of guidance and monitoring of the project. Along the way Tata Steels, Kajaria Tiles Ltd, Havells, Lingel (Doors & Windows) and Perryware gave us substantial discounts their CSR and provided the much needed support at very crucial moments.
India Potash Limited came forward to finance of Rs. 33 lakhs under CSR for furnishing and equipment's. We are grateful to UIT Alwar and civil administration of Alwar for supporting us at various stages of the project, and provided us with required clearances and approvals.
Vishwaprabha Eye Hospital is a 9355 square feet modern building with high quality and cost effective construction. It is all set to roll out its services soon. The outpatient unit of Venu Vision Center has been shifted to the new building. The hospital has:
- Waiting area
- Screening area (Refraction Room)
- Doctors Rooms
- Operation Theater
- Preparation, recovery, Doctors scrub & Changing rooms Sterilization room
- Male & Female Wards
- Nursing station, Supervisor's room, Store, Generator room and Guard room etc.
The hospital is being run in partnership with Venu Eye Institute & Research Centre in Delhi and involvement of the local community.
The Vishwaprabha Netralaya has been a mile stone in SAPNA journey to Sewa the poorest of poor. It's the product of the hard work, foresight, dedication and perseverance of TEAM SAPNA that the Eye Hospital has seen the light of the day and is all set to be dedicated to the service society.
