Sapna runs an ambitious rural Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) initiative with a clear mission: to provide gainful employment opportunities to IT skilled youth residing in rural areas. This transformative venture was started in 2012.
The BPO has worked with prestigious organizations such as INFOSYS, India Post, Forest Department, Punj Lloyd, and Yashi Consultancy in the past. In 2018, an IT consultancy platform named Sapna IT Consultancy was established to undertake commercial engagements. Currently, Sapna IT Consultancy is engaged in comprehensive back-office services for a prominent American pharmaceutical company.
Till date we have engaged 145 part-time data entry operators from neighboring villages on a project basis. This initiative has not only provided a golden opportunity for the rural youth to gain meaningful employment but has also paved the way for their personal and professional growth within their local communities.
Last year, 10 IT Executives and 15 Data Entry Operators were employed. Sapna’s BPO remains vigilant in its pursuit of new and
exciting business opportunities, eager to continue its impactful journey of rural economic development.
Objective
The objective is to provide employment opportunities to youngsters who have IT skills but are hesitant to leave their villages due to family circumstances and background.

Looking ahead, the BPO aims to expand its operations by outsourcing more projects from corporate clients, thereby increasing the volume and diversity of work handled. This expansion will create greater employment opportunities for rural youth, enabling them to gain market-relevant skills and financial independence. By strengthening training programs and linking them with real-time project work, the BPO envisions establishing a sustainable employment model that not only supports livelihood generation but also contributes to the long-term socio-economic development of rural communities.
