Skill Development Project, Noida

The skilling centre for women of Nithari village is located in a rented floor of a building in Sector 31. The idea behind creating this centre is to help women to take control of their lives and fight the poverty-cycle by making self-help groups and learning aviable skill to augment their earning. We are aiming to facilitate the creation of a cluster of micro-enterprises.

The project has been designed in a gender-sensitive way, cognisant of social norms and the constraints faced by women in their daily lives. It is aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals related to decent work and gender equality.
