“Shadi” is an important moment in the life of Indian families. However, the cost of a wedding can be a considerable financial strain for low-income families. This might force families to make difficult decisions, including going into debt or borrowing money to make ends meet.
Another activity undertaken by NGO Sapna is to assist disadvantaged families with the marriage of their daughters. We assisted several poor families in their daughter marriages in villages Kaduki and Dadikar, in Alwar, Rajasthan.
We recently assisted two families from Village Dadikar who were struggling financially in the run-up to their daughters’ weddings. Their wedding was scheduled for April 30th and May 5th, 2023.
SAPNA generously provided essential supplies like clothes, utensils, and rations, which allowed the family to celebrate their daughters’ weddings without financial worry.
By providing essential supplies and support, SAPNA helps families make memories that will last a lifetime. By providing essential assistance and promoting community welfare, SAPNA is helping to create a more equitable and supportive society for all.
